About Convergent Technology

One Group. Five specialist businesses.

Convergent Technology Company designs, builds and operates the technical environments Saudi enterprise and government work depends on — from the data hall to the outdoor space, and from the permanent installation to the live event.

Who we are

A Saudi engineering and technology group, organised around delivery.

Convergent is a single registered company operating five specialist Business Units. Each one is deep enough in its own discipline to be contracted on its own merits, and all five run under one delivery method and one set of management systems.

That structure is a deliberate answer to how technical work is normally bought here. A building programme hires a facilities contractor, a network contractor, an audiovisual contractor and a landscape contractor, and the points where their scopes meet belong to nobody. Those points are the Group's subject.

The Group

Five specialist businesses, not five service lines.

Each unit publishes its own capability boundary, its own delivery method and its own interfaces with the other four. None of them sits inside another, and none of them is a department.

  1. 01The facility, and everything that keeps it running.Data CentersCritical facilities engineered for availability and control. Design, delivery, commissioning and operation of data center facilities and their supporting systems.
  2. 02The estate that carries the work across every building.IT InfrastructureThe connected foundation for dependable operations. Enterprise connectivity, structured cabling, infrastructure platforms and infrastructure security, delivered within clearly defined technical scopes.
  3. 03The rooms where people have to present, hear and be heard.AudiovisualEnvironments designed for communication and collaboration. Audiovisual systems for meeting rooms, auditoriums, control rooms, digital signage and public spaces — from technical design through commissioning and handover.
  4. 04The ground the buildings stand in, planned for how it will be used.LandscapeOutdoor environments planned for their setting and long-term use. Commercial and residential landscapes across softscape, hardscape, irrigation and water features, delivered from design through maintenance.
  5. 05The programme with a date, built and operated live.EventsTechnical production built around the experience. Audiovisual production, LED, lighting, staging and live operations for corporate, government and public events.

How they work together

Specialist depth and Group coordination are not a trade-off.

The usual assumption is that you buy either deep expertise or a single point of contact. The Group is arranged so that the second does not cost you the first.

  1. The depth stays where it is

Each unit is contracted, staffed and measured on its own discipline. Nothing is diluted into a generalist team, and a single-discipline requirement is bought from a single discipline.

  2. The Group coordinates the meeting points

Where a requirement genuinely crosses disciplines, the Group coordinates the points where those specialist scopes meet — which is the part that is normally nobody's line item.

  3. One method, five scales

A data hall takes two years and an event takes a week, and both are run the same way. The instrument changes; the method does not.

How the Group delivers

One approach, applied at five different scales.

The same four stages run whether the deliverable is a data hall, an estate, a room, a landscape or a live programme.

  1. Consult

Establish what the requirement actually is, what it has to interface with, and which disciplines it touches — before anything is specified.

  2. Design

Engineer the solution and the boundaries around it, so the points where two scopes meet are drawn rather than discovered.

  3. Build

Deliver, install and commission — with interfaces between our own scopes witnessed together rather than signed off separately.

  4. Manage

Operate and support under the agreed scope, with the record of what was handed over kept where the operator can use it.

Where to go next

Start with the discipline, or with the join.

If you know which discipline you need, each Business Unit page sets out its own scope, method and standards. If the requirement crosses more than one, that is the Group's subject and the better place to start is a conversation.
