Build the things other people depend on.

Everything the five Business Units deliver is something somebody else then relies on — a hall that has to stay up, a network that has to carry the day, a room that has to work in front of an audience. That is the character of the work here, and it is most of what there is to say about it.

The work

Five disciplines, five very different days.

The Group is five specialist businesses, and they do not feel alike to work in. The engineering is shared; the tempo, the environment and the tolerance for error are not.

  1. Data Centers

Critical facilities work, measured in years and in single-digit tolerances. Long design periods, formal commissioning, and environments where the cost of being wrong is the reason the discipline exists.

  2. IT Infrastructure

Estate-wide work across live buildings — structured cabling, switching and platforms installed around people who are still using them. Precision at scale, and a lot of it done out of hours.

  3. Audiovisual

Rooms that have to present, hear and be heard. Technical design that ends in a space somebody will judge in the first thirty seconds of the first meeting held in it.

  4. Landscape

Outdoor work on a horizon nobody else on a project is working to. Ground, drainage, planting and irrigation that are judged on how they look in three years, not on handover day.

  5. Events

Production against a fixed date that will not move. Weeks of preparation for hours of operation, live, with no second attempt — the fastest tempo in the Group by a wide margin.

And there is a fifth kind of work that belongs to none of them: the points where two disciplines meet. Somebody has to own those, and on this Group they are designed rather than argued about later.

STATUSNO OPEN ROLES PUBLISHED

There are no roles published on this site at the moment. When that changes, openings will appear on this page with the discipline, the location and what the role actually involves — not as a general invitation.

We are not accepting unsolicited applications through this site. There is deliberately no upload here and no recruitment address published: an applicant's CV is personal data, and the route for handling it will be opened when the controls around it are in place — not before.

When something opens

This page is where it will appear.

Openings will be published here first, with the Business Unit named. Until then the most useful thing on this site for anyone thinking about the work is the discipline pages themselves — they describe the actual scope, method and standards each unit works to, which is more informative about a job than any careers page.
